Back to the Random Dozen

1. How old is the oldest pair of shoes in your closet?
Umm...let's see. I'm 25, and I still have my Doc Marten boots from 9th grade---{not that I WEAR them, but you see they were in an investment}, and in 9th grade...I was 14...15? So 10-11 years old. On the ratio of my life.....that's a very long time. Just sayin'...

2. Did you buy Girl Scout cookies this year? If so, what variety?
Heck yes....Tagalongs and Thin Mint. I buy Thin Mint every year, but we actually don't really like them...... But the Tagalongs will be gone by this weekend, and no I will not tell you how many boxes we bought ;)

3. Do you know how to ballroom dance? If not, would you like to?
We did 'dancing' in PE in 10th grade. I learned to Polka {oh yes}, waltz, and Jitterbug....Oh yeah, and square dance. That's as good as it gets people.

4. Were you a responsible child/teenager?
Nope. End of story.

5. How many of this year's Oscar-nominated movies did you see?
The Blind Side. That's it.  I'm a big big fan.

I want to see Up and I will probably see Avatar. Jesse wants to see Hurt Locker...not sure I can handle that movie.

6. If you're going to have a medical procedure done, such as having blood drawn, is it easier for you to watch someone else having the procedure done or have it done yourself?
I would like to have nothing to do with needles, IV's, blood, etc.

I've always thought that the medical profession was an honorable and fascinating career choice, but I just couldn't do it.....I sooo wish that I could. I could catch a baby, but I could never administer the IV.

7. What is your favorite day of the week and why?
Probably Thursday. Typically, well, it used to be our "Eat out" night....not so much anymore.  But it's almost Friday!

8. Do you miss anyone right now?
Not really.....I mean, Jesse's at work....but he'll be home later. That sounds so insensitive.

9. Do hospitals make you queasy?
I should hope not, I worked at one for 2 1/2 years.

10. At which store would you like to max-out your credit card. Not that you ever would, you responsible person, you.
Target. I know I should probably say some really cool store.....like J. Crew or Ann Taylor Loft {which I could totally do that too}, but Target......*sigh* I definitely miss living near one.
11. Are you true to the brand names of products/items?
I guess it depends. I'm kind of a loyal Mary Kay chica. And I am a loyal Pepsi drinker.  But that's about where it stops....

12. Which is more difficult: looking into someone’s eyes when you are telling someone how you feel, or looking into someone’s eyes when he/she is telling you how he/she feels?

Hmm...is it weird that I'm getting all self conscience thinking about answering this question?? Probably telling someone how I feel.

I totally forgot Target. I love, love, love Target and we live far away from one so when we go it's retail therapy and I have to go and visit each and every department.

Thin Mints... yum. Good thing I have a few boxes hiding in my kitchen waiting for me...

Be thankful you don't live by a Target anymore. I'm there so often that the employees know me. Not kidding... I'm on a first-name basis with some of them. Not so great for the ol' wallet.

So enjoyed my first stop by your blog, it's so cute and I DO love the name! Don't know how you have time to blog, but I'm glad you do. Happy Spring!

Target = 3 min. 28 sec. from my front door. A little scary.
I'm glad to know I'm not the only one holding on to my "investment" shoes! Someday someone will appreciate them...right?
Fun dozen! :)

I'm craving Thin Mints!
Ah, Target. I'd love to max out a card there too.

We saw Hurt Locker and it's an excellent movie, but very intense. I haven't seen Blind Side yet though and can't wait to see it!
