We are learning this skill too, and it is definitely still a work in progress.
I try to make myself feed them something that needs a spoon at least one meal a day.
Awww! :) Awesome milestone. You will love it when he gets this little bit of independence that frees your hands up a bit for the 10000 other things they must keep up with.

Yay for Hayden! Lily eats her yogurt with a spoon every morning. Quite a bit ends up in the hair and she sometimes tries to eat it with her hands which is...interesting :) But fun to watch :)
Too cute, oatmeal & all! We've tried to give our 15 mo. old a spoon, but he thinks is soooooo funny to throw it across the room! Ha!
