Disclaimer...While the topic may bore you today, READ TO THE END...I'm having a mini-giveaway ;)
A week or two ago, I stumbled across a fellow blog mom, Kelly, and her lovely blog and a particular meme that she was doing, called "Show Us Your Life".
A week or two ago, I stumbled across a fellow blog mom, Kelly, and her lovely blog and a particular meme that she was doing, called "Show Us Your Life".
Every week, Kelly picks a different facet of life that you blog about, and "show" each other, nothing toooooo personal.
This week baby gear.
This week baby gear.
Now, I'm not gonna lie, I could probably crash the entire world wide web {do people even call it that anymore?!?} with photos of alllll the baby gear we have. And to be completely honest, I don't think that we have one piece of baby gear that isn't absolutely necessary. I mean, let's face it we have 3 babies under 17 mos. Madness.
So, I picked just one "small" area to capitalize on.
Strollers.
We have three, and love each of them individually for what they add to our lives. {You'd think they each had souls or something}
For you moms of only 1 baby, I'll start with the smallest stroller as to not give you a heart attack ;)
I give you Chicco Trevi
This marvelous system is a heavier duty version of an umbrella stroller. It folds up like a dream, and I'm not gonna like...it's fantastic. It's not the Rolls Royce of strollers, but it doesn't need to be.
Only Hayden ever rides in it.
Secondly, we have the Baby Trend Double Stroller Frame
{I don't know the exact make and model name, sorry!}

This was a beautiful Craigslist find. $50. Almost any brand of carseat (x2!) fits on this bad boy. Again, folds up like a dream, and you have a double stroller without a huge mess of big stroller-ness.
And the grand pappi of them all:

This Triple Jogging stroller was truly a gift from God. There is no doubt in my mind that HE led me to Ebay the day I found it in a private auction {9 min to the end of the auction} where it's high bid was $192.50. That may sound expensive, but let me just say, we were prepared to spend upwards to $700 for one of these guys. And got her home for $200. Fabulous.
Praise the Lord!
So we need your help, if you haven't already fallen asleep with my ramblings about something you don't care about, now's the time to jump back on. This Triple Jogging Beast needs a name. No piece of equipment with this kind of space occupancy can get by without a name. SO. That said, over this weekend, you can enter {comment} as many 'names' for the stroller as you like {obviously only crowd appropriate names, please}, and I will pick my favorite 5 to put in a poll that will end on October 9, Next Friday.
If your stroller name is selected as the winner, you will receive a $5 Starbucks Gift Card!! Can't win if you don't play! Feel free to comment, or shoot me an e-mail with your suggested name!
I would encourage you all to participate in this Show Us Your Life meme! Some of her upcoming topics are particularly exciting, and it's so fun to get to know each other more!
Happy Weekend Everyone!

The Jog Au Trois :) You can count that as an entry if you like it -it just popped into my head - but I'll try to think of something better and come back later. I'm amazed by your strollers!
Hey Katie!! Loved the post. When I was on teams this last yr. We had a HUGE van that was awkward to turn and steer (as i would imagine the stroller is). We named it Hank (rhymes with tank). See the connection. :)
I love Kelly's Show Us Your Life posts too -- fun stuff!
I'm gonna have to think for awhile for a really good name but I'll just throw one out there for now -- the Triple Tank.
Do you really go jogging with that? That thing looks like it blazes it's own trail -- I'd probably end up running over a squirrel -- or a small child -- but I'm accident prone :)
Amy....let's be serious. Do I jog?! Heck no :) But it is WAY more mobile than the double. WAY. That thing'll turn on a dime.
How about Hercules? "Herky" for short. :)

Well played, Van Der Molen, well played

The Behemoth. It was the first thing that came to mind when I saw that stroller! WOW.
And 3 under 17 mos? I passed out from exhaustion for you.
Triple Threat. Really, I'm not good at coming up with names... I just wanted a chance to win the gift card!
Katie! That's hilarious (about the giveaway) because I was JUST brainstorming a giveaway for a name for my new camera! :) Wahoo! Prbly won't be up until next week sometime...anyhoo...
Goodness, this naming thing is harder than I thought. I like Katie's "Triple Threat" and now I can't think of anything else!
Hmmm, how 'bout: TriRide - that's Jim's input. I'll re-comment for my own entry. ;)
My name entry is: The Incredible Bulk. ;) You know, cause of it's "space occupancy." ;)
Being that you have three handsome young men in your family (that ride in the stroller), I think you should name is the Stud-mobile.
Thanks for your comment. I do not know how you do it with three under 17 months. My twins are 16 months and if I found out tomorrow we had another one on the way I just might lock myself in the bathroom for the next 18 years! :)
My mom once had this huge car that could haul anything and we called it "Bessie" and some called it "Bertha". Just thought those might be some possibilities. :)
Nice to meet you. Thank you for visiting my blog. I look forward to learning more about you.
Blessings,
Amy
good find on the stroller. We have a ton of baby gear around here too!
That's a serious stroller you have there! I think I'd call him Stanely.
Zelda. just sounds large and in charge.
Triple Deluxe :)
