Without them, no baby is artifically soothed, no pretty music plays, no vibrating, swaying happiness. And yet.....they cost a milllllion dollars (for only a few!)  and last 3 days. Seriously?! You gotta be kiddin' me! 

Remember those dolls we had when we were kids? The kind where the big huge batteries were stored in a little unit in their butt?? You know, and without them....the doll made no crying noises, no shrieking, and didn't run away from you?

Well, it appears....my baby dolls have no such little unit. I've checked.
