First things first. WE'RE HOME!!! We were discharged from Blank on Thursday!
Meet Owen & Silas...no tubes, no extra tape, buttons, or monitors...just them. Aren't they beautiful?? Pardon my bias.
We were discharged on Thursday, June 25th, so yes, I really have been lazy. But honestly, these pictures were taken in the real live 'Going Home From the Hospital' outfits. But I have to confess, we have yet to take a whole family picture. I really should just carry a camera in my pocket at all times.
Needless to say, it is soo good to be home, and between my mom & Jesse's mom, we've had a lot of help. And thanks to the ladies at our church, we've had meals almost every night.
It is great to see Hayden all day every day. Seems he's busted at the seams since we last 'saw' him, and his word and personality explosion has been a blast!
So far, he is a great big brother :)
Mommy felt so bad about leaving me for 2 1/2 weeks, that she let me eat an OREO....
.....It was really really good :)
At discharge on Thursday, Owen weighed 6lbs, 11 oz & Silas weighed 7 lbs 2 oz. At their 'followup' check up yesterday with Dr. Richmond, Owen weighed 7lbs 4oz, & Silas weighed in at 7lbs 12oz! They are doing great, and without a doubt it is GREAT to be home!
