Days Go By

Six years ago today.....during the dinner hour, I experienced the first huge loss in my life. The death of my grandfather.
Our family has never been the same without him.

************************

1 year ago today.....during the dinner hour, our family welcomed two beautiful baby boys into our home, and into our lives.
And our family hasn't been the same since they arrived.

To Baby Owen......{"O", "Ow-y"}

My Older twin.
From the moment you were born, your strength has been evident.
You have quite the stubbornness about you,
but you are sweet to no end.
You have intellect
and an opinion about everything
You are super cuddly
and your Big little voice keeps everyone smiling.
You are uniquely Owen.

To my Baby Silas {Yi-yas, Si Guy}

My younger twin.
You may be younger, but you've got the world at your fingertips.
Everything is an exciting adventure to you.
Your smile is infectious, and your cheeks almost bust everytime.
From the second they let you out of the hospital, you hit the ground running
Your sweet disposition has caused us to greatly underestimate you.
You are loyal and want to be right where we are at all times.
Your amazing eyelashes are the envy of the church nursery.
And you're constantly trying to be the life of the party.

So Uniquely Silas and so sweetly you.

I never thought I would be SOO glad to have such different twins.

 You are both perfect {in that little sinner kind of way}
Happy Birthday, Boys!!
